Adding a second spouse

I have two uncles and a great grandfather whose first wives died. They remarried. How do I add the second wife and the children from those marriages onto the family tree? Thank you

@brownj1 Hi - Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking your question about adding a second spouse and children. You first of all, add the second spouse, then you can add children to that family. Here are the links with more detailed instructions.

If you are adding a second spouse, when you get to the family members section, scroll down past the first wife and children to find the Add Spouse button.

When entering children, just make sure you are adding to the correct set of parents in the case of multiple spouses. Hope this helps.

Note you can add children to as many spouses of a parent as is appropriate. After all a child can have both a birth mom and a step mom. You can set that up in FamilySearch as well.
