View Relationship modification

The View Relationship feature is fantastic in helping me understand my personal relationship to other people on the tree (person X).

However, it would be great to be able to view the relationship of any of my ancestors to other people on the tree (person X).

For example, I may want to know how my great-great-grandfather is related to person X. Is he first cousin to person X etc?

Sometimes trying to understand precise relationships of person X to my ancestors is not that obvious.

I hope you understand this. Many thanks.

    This can be done right now using relativefinder.org, a partner site of FamilySearch, which uses the data from Family Tree. It lets you find the relationship between any two persons in the Tree

    @TanyaWatene

    You can also use RelativeFinder.org to find the relationship between you and your friends or anyone else.

    relativefinder works fine with DEAD persons, and will work with living persons if the living persons willing.
