Better Organize Memories

First of all, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! You are doing an amazing job to make this site user-friendly and interesting! But as you have asked for suggestions:

I would like a way to organize the memories page--like chronologically, maybe. Right now it is just a jumbled mess. The old page at least separated the photos from the stories and the documents and the recordings.

I would also like a way to separate the items that directly concern the person whose page it is, from those that are photos or stories of other people that the principles are mentioned in.

These are things that might not be an automatic function of the computer, but could be an option for a user to do. And yes, two people might have different ideas about the same page, but they'd just have to work that out between them, as many families learn to do.

    Have you played around with the filters?

    They do much of what you are asking for. There have been a lot of requests for the ability for anyone to add a date to an item, rather than just the person who uploaded it originally which will make the chronological sort work better.

    There have various posts from FamilySearch people about various options that are still being looked at. Adding the ability to mark an item as a primary vs. "mentioned in record of" item like we see with sources is certainly an interesting idea.
