I don't know if I am doing something wrong. I just wanted to standardize the record of my ancestor James McEachran. There is no pencil beside his name and ID number to open his record and let me edit. Can you please help me. Jen

Make sure you're on his Details page: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/M1YW-F6V

But everything there is fully standardized, so I'm not sure what it is you'd like to do.

The nitpicker in me wants to edit the date of birth, and add some spaces after the commas.

Campbeltown,Argyll, Scotland is Standardized as Campbeltown, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, United Kingdom. If this is correct, just add the spaces.

They may all be standardised but none of them are standardised correctly. For those dates they should all read Campbeltown, Argyll, Scotland, United Kingdom.
