You can correct it. If you need help or guidance, please provide the PID - the identifying code near Josephine's name.

Before you start, I recommend you spend some time in the Help Center, learning how things work in the FSFT (FamilySearch Family Tree). Links to a couple of important articles:
How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?
How do I see what changes were made about a person in Family Tree?
Then take a look at the Change Log, down the right side of Josephine's profile page. You can contact other contributors to the profile by clicking on the username(s) to send a private message. Be sure to look at the rest of the family, not just Josephine in isolation. There are many people with the same or similar names, and there are over 8 billion profiles in the FSFT.
I notice the family is from Brooklyn, now part of New York City. If you don't know about NYC's new free records website, it's a great place to find more information. NYCRecords
Good luck!

According to the marriage record for Josephine Clark to Ellsworth Mead in 1884 Josephine’s parents were John C. Clark and Sarah King. There was another Josephine who was the approximate correct age, but was not my great grandmother. I don’t know how to correct it.
