Reviewing the same entries

The same entry can be reviewed several times, but, it is unlikely that the same person gets it. There is a quality control process that attempts to produce a great final product.
When a reviewer makes more than 20% corrections to an index then it goes to a 2nd reviewer. If that reviewer agrees within at least 20% of the corrections, the batch is complete. However, if the indexer was correct, and the 1st reviewer was wrong, and the 2nd reviewer changed at least 20% back to the original indexers entries, then it goes to a third review. Depending on what happens there, it could have a fourth review by a FamilySearch team.
Additionally, they have a set pattern where a batch is randomly selected to be reviewed again after it passes inspection. (I think it might be every 10th batch).
So, depending on how many people are reviewing a project, and how good the indexers and reviewers are at reading the instructions and understanding the documents, the number of reviews could vary.

Hello Melissa,
Thank you for your reply.
I was worried that maybe the corrections I made on the entries I was reviewing the first time were not registered because I had to review the same entry again but without the corrections I made the first time.
Hope this makes sense !
The project I am reviewing is not recent and the indexing and the reviewing are in very slow progress.

I always recommend that when you change something and then see another reviewer or an indexer changes it back, review the project instructions and the field helps just to make sure nothing has changed and you are following them!
It sounds like there are probably very few people working on the project, so you could be reviewing another reviewers changes.
