Indexing Groups

- What are you trying to accomplish? Why? Within the Get Involved tab Is indexing. Within indexing, we can create groups, subgroups and add admins to look after each indexing group. (Looking for an easier way to edit Admins within the indexing groups.)
- What is the challenge or roadblock you are encountering? If an Admin moves or leaves the group or subgroup, It is difficult to remove his/her name from this Indexing group. (This was made known to me by another Stake Family History consultant.)
- What is your idea? Make it easier to edit/remove Admins within the Indexing groups (Similar to Facebook.)
- How would solving this challenge improve your experience?" Keep Indexing groups up to date.

If your ward or branch indexing group does not have an administrator listed, this is what you can do to fix that: have your bishop or branch president call a "Ward Temple And Family History Leader". ! The new leader will automatically become an administrator for the unit indexing group. Then they can appoint other administrators, as needed. (It took us several calls to Salt Lake to figure this out, but it worked and now we have both a branch "Temple and Family History Leader" and an administrator for our branch indexing group.
