Family Name Research Groups
I would like to see a feature in FamilySearch where we can create a collaborative research group based on a single ancestor who's research has proven difficult. For example, my ancestor Charles Minnis, b.1833, would be a Group. Everyone who has information and records on this ancestor can message each other and share information. Specifically, this Minnis line evaporates with the father of Charles Minnis b.1883. If enough people collaborate tiny bits of information and provide clues, the group might be able break through and piece together the missing information. Imagine what 20 people could accomplish, or 120 people all working to crack open the mysteries on a single ancestor!

In addition to Áine's advice of using a Family Group, may I suggest the profile page itself? If it's really "based on a single ancestor", then that single ancestor's Collaborate tab is really the best place to collect all of the research questions and notes about him.
