Is there a means of getting expert help to fix complex duplicate issues and similar problems?
I have a 3rd great-grandfather who has 6 IDs. My 3rd great-grandmother is shown as having been married to each of the 6 IDs plus having having children by an unknown spouse who should be him. The whole thing is a bit overwhelming and I am wondering if there is support available to fix the mess.

Merging those 6 IDs is tedious, but not complicated. Just take it one at a time.
1. Open your 3ggmother's profile in one tab -- it has a nice and handy listing of all of the IDs that need to be merged.
2. In another tab, open the profile of your 3ggfather that you want to keep.
3. Copy the ID for one of the duplicates from ggm's tab.
4. On ggf's tab, scroll down to the Tools box in the right-hand column, click Merge By ID, and paste the just-copied ID into the box. Follow the prompts to complete the merge, making sure you transfer all of the relationships and any sources. (It defaults to doing so, which makes it easy.)
5. Repeat from step 3 for each duplicate.
How to deal with ggm's spare parental relationships depends on the specifics. If by "unknown spouse" you mean that there is actually a profile labeled something like "unknown", you can copy its ID and merge it with ggf, same as above. If by "unknown spouse" you mean that the spouse spot is empty, then you can delete each child's relationship with just ggm (edit pencil next to child, trashcan to remove relationship). If the spouse spot is empty but there are a dozen children, a shortcut is to create a dummy spouse and then merge it with the real one; that'll remove all of the spare relationships at once.
