Marriage record glitch - automatic mismatch of parents.

Frequently the FamilySearch program will automatically mismatch the parents of one of the spouses in their marriage record, as shown below.

The program doesn't provide a way to switch the parents around so the record can be attached to the correct people.

    You can use the Change buttons to focus on different persons on either the left side (record persons) or the right side (Tree persons). Then you can get the right people aligned and attach the record.

    The reason they're mismatched is that the index didn't record their sexes, so they're in alphabetical order.

    As Alan says, the program does provide a way to switch them, using the Change drop-downs.

    (While it's sometimes hard to find the right magic pixel in it, Source Linker is actually a highly versatile and effective tool: I have yet to encounter an index entry -- no matter how badly indexed -- that it couldn't attach to the correct profiles.)
