It would be very helpful to add this feature when detaching a source.

This is about what the system does after you detach a source.

If incorrect source, and incorrect info in event field has been updated to more correct info, or family relationships then I normally do not see the system try to re-suggest the same source be attached to the record again.

The system will re-suggest the same source again if correct source, and I have just detached it.

For example Find a Grave has duplicate memorials. When those memorials are merged, or removed then those sources are gone.

Now and then I see a record with two Find a Grave memorials. See one is merged so I detach it.

Just to have it show up as a suggested source to attach all over again. Then I have to select "not a match" to have it not show up.

Since I just detached source it would be nice to have the system not re-suggest it again.

I was thinking it could go to Dismissed Helps. This would be very helpful to have the system do it when the source is dettached and not have me do "not a match" later. IF I REMEMBER to refresh record.

What does "mod note - edit to remove Find a Grave initials." mean?

Not related to my research help suggestion that I can tell.

This Community has an automatic monitoring system that replaces problematic words with a string of asterisks. Your initial post must have triggered that so the moderator edited your post to spell out your abbreviation so your post would display properly.

    Good ideas in your suggestion.

Just wanted to mention that it is never a good idea to mark as "Not A Match" a source that really is for the person even though it is a duplicate source or is a source that points to an outside website where that source has been deleted. The Hint engine does look at all dismissed sources to try to not present incorrect hints. If a correct source has been dismissed it can cause the Hint engine to not give other correct hints that match the dismissed source.
