Memory Lane

At our FSC location in Richland Washington, we are looking into possibly getting one, but the budget is around $5,000 USD or to make one with online electronic plans and digital camera may cost less and with donated equipment. Meanwhile, we have an Epson flatbed scanner that can have 4 slides put into a template unit, but each slide is scanned separately and it takes time. The system you are looking at can be rented for around $600 USD per week in the EEUU or done as a service for 5 cents USD per slide.
Your FSC at your location (Sonora Mexico?) may possibly be "closer" in fact to the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake, where the original "Memory Lane" resides in all its glory. Our two Epson units (flatbed and FastPhoto) are recent acquisitions we provide for free in Richland Washington and based on past conversations with the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City, Utah by our lead Information Technology person.
