Could someone write a similar article about the Jews who converted to Catholicism at the end of the 18th century in Poland. I don't know if the Catholic Church kept records from that period. I know that many of the Jewish records were destroyed, although I've read that Konin still has some records available. My family were/are Jewish but I believe they converted for, presumably, economic, political, safety reasons, in the final years of the 1700's. My great grandfather's family kept up some of the Jewish traditions but children and grandchildren (like my mother), were told it was a secret. I'd love to know more about this topic. Thanks.
