When there are two separate images on one entry that require indexing do I combine them using the date on the Petition for Naturalization as instructed or do I create another entry and index them separately?

It is always best to provide the batch code (the series of letters and numbers after the title, i.e., XXXX-XXX) to get the best answer. But, you should follow the project instructions.

    • When combining information from multiple documents on the same image, use the record number from the petition for naturalization. If the image does not show a petition for naturalization, use the record number from the document with the most recent date.
