I'm at the husband of my grandaunt, I click on View Relationship and see my relationship to him - about 4 hops away. All is good.

Next I go to his parent and click on View Relationship. I now get the "It appears your tree does not have enough generations added to find a shared relative, or the shared relative is beyond 15 generations." message.

I'm only about 5 hops away from my grandaunt's father-in-law. Is there some barrier I've passed here?

Also - the Learn More link following that message is 404. "Well this is unexpected..."

Yup: it's not direct enough for FS's tastes. By their algorithm's definitions, you're related to everyone directly connected to you (i.e. by blood/adoption/parenting) plus their spouses, but not to the spouses' ancestors.
