Access to data on films marked as available on film reel (versus digital film)

A film that I'm wanting to review was previously available digitally but only for members. Now it is has the reel marking and I'm thinking not available at all unless you're in SLC. Is there no other way to see a film marked with a reel than to travel to Salt Lake City and view them in the library there?

Yes, a film with a reel symbol is available to you only in physical form at Salt Lake City. Make sure you're logged in, and be aware that members and non-members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints sometimes have different levels of access.

If you'd like a FamilySearch Moderator to investigate the film number - you could provide the film number and flag your post asking for review. Rarely in my experience here in Community - there are complications with the digital version. The film may also possibly be under digital contract through another provider (but usually if there is such restriction there is some indication that you could access the collection elsewhere).
