I was attempting to put in my biological dad without losing my adoptive dad so I deleted mom to put her back in a different way but I lost her family tree. Is there any way to retrieve what was lost?

This is all fixable. First is your mother Living or Deceased? Also are her parents Living or Deceased?

You can check the Latest Changes from your person page for parent-child relationship changes - at least you should be able to get your mother's PID (person ID) and add her back in.

As Chas said, it's fixable: everything is tracked in each profile's Change Log. Whether your mother is living is not actually relevant to your ability to fix it. (That only affects whether other users like us can help with it or not.)

Go to the main FS site and choose Person from the Family Tree menu. This should put you on your own profile. In the right-hand column, find the box titled Latest Changes and click Show All at the bottom. On the resulting page, find the entry where you deleted your relationship with your mother, and click the word Reference that's next to it. The resulting page should show your relationship with the word Restore next to it; click that Restore to put your mother back as your mother.

You don't need to delete anything to add your adoptive father. On your profile page, scroll down to the Family Members section, and click Add Parent at the bottom of the Parents and Siblings column. Add your dad's information (the minimum is one name and living/deceased) and save. Then find where your name appears under his in Family Members and click the pencil after your name. On the popup, click Add Relationship Type under his name, choose Adoptive from the drop-down, and save.

There are many ways to find anything again.

If you edited or changed anyone connected to your mother, like her parents or siblings, you can recapture the link to the family from your contributions. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/contributions/changes
