How do I submit knowledge of wrong name in record?

I know of a record that I looked up that is spelled incorrectly. Because it is my mother, and grandparents census. The handwriting is very hard to read. But whom ever typed in to data base misspelled my mother's name. I would like to help others look at this information and have it right. Thank you.

If it is a US Census, you can edit most of those. At the top of the record page, look for the word "Edit."

If it is some other census, if you can share the URL, someone may be able to give more explicit help.
