As with all records, the record custodian, which for these records will either be the Counties or the State of Kentucky must give permission for the records to be indexed. Whether or not to grant permission is a political question for the relevant public officials. If you are eligible to vote for the office(s) involved, be sure to make your views known to the current officeholders and vote in the next primary and general election.

We can't request that collections be indexed.
