Why are we instructed to not record the names and birth information for children listed on a Petition for Naturalization?

They are not the one(s) seeking citizenship and oftentimes are natural-born citizens.

Image 1 is not a duplicate of Image 2. Image 1 is an Oath of Allegiance and should've been indexed. The second image should've been combined and indexed for Wilhelm only. This is another example of someone not taking the time to read the Project Instructions.

I agree we need to study the instructions, but sometimes I don't see a similar example or just can't wrap my brain around complicated instructions. It's not due to lack of experience because I have indexed and reviewed thousands of records. It helps if participants will ask indexing questions here so I can learn.
