Unable to tag myself in memories

I've been trying for several days to tag myself in pictures I've uploaded to memories. I can tag other people and I'm not getting any errors but my tag won't stay. How do I tag myself and make it stay?

I don't normally put items in memories that need to be tagged to my profile because I'm working farther back in my family history. But, I just tested tagging myself to a memory on the Beta platform, without a problem.

Each ID has a limit of 1000 tagged memories. Sometimes the ability to tag additional memories stops about 995.

If the data limit is your issue, you might evaluate the memories already tagged to your ID. Is your "face" or "name" in every memory? Can you group related memories in a collage type photo? Are you using memories to write a daily journal?
