New Jersey Marriage Certificates
My paternal great-grandparents (both British), Frank Ardron and Edith Chorley, married in 1909 in New Jersey. I have the marriage index, but in order to be certain of certain facts about Edith, I need a full marriage certificate. I'm really struggling to work out how to go about requesting this birth certificate, and the information available online just makes things more confusing. I'm hoping someone local to the area could shed a bit of line as to how I would go about applying for this marriage certificate?

Good morning. I'm not local to NJ, although my paternal family was in New Jersey for 100+ years in the 19th and 20th centuries. I can recommend an excellent researcher who is local. I've used her often. If you would like to send me a PM (just click on my username to see the option to send me a message), I'll be happy to give you her contact information. It is less expensive and faster to use her services than to order from New Jersey.
