How do I edit a person in the family tree?

April 23 edited April 23 in Family Tree

I'm getting quite upset with Family Search as it lists my husband as living and it won't let me alter any of his details. How do I add his date of death?

Thank you for posting a question with the Community. You should be able to add a death date for your husband. Click on his name, and on his person, or his details. Scroll down to his Vitals, and where it says Death, and living, click the little pencil. You should be able to add a death date on the next screen.

That would seem the obvious way and that's what I tried but it won't let me edit the vitals.

I've just tried again and finally it's allowed me to edit. It must have been a glitch.
