This does not cover what needs to be done. There is a record for Ard Stapp (L1GX-W4H) which is a person who did not exist. The program shows a Robert Blake created a record for this person based on an obituary for my cousin James E Stapp. The obituary was in a Victoria Advocate newspaper and it listed How-ard (should have been Howard) Stapp as a brother. Cousin Howard Stapp is already shown in your program under record # L1G6-C12. Please delete Ard Stapp from your program. Thank you.

@CharlynSciacca, the solution to that problem is to merge "Ard" into Howard, and you can do that yourself.

“This does not cover what needs to be done.” It covered the situation asked about on the original question. It doesn’t’ cover your situation because the circumstances are different.
”There is a record for Ard Stapp (L1GX-W4H) which is a person who did not exist.” This person did exist. As you said yourself, they were the brother of James E Stapp (although I note the source attached says sister), all that happened is that their name was slightly mis-transcribed.
“Please delete Ard Stapp from your program.” This person cannot be deleted, and does not need to be deleted. What you need to do, if you are absolutely certain that Ard and Howard are the same person, is to merge the two profiles together, stating your reason for doing so.
