Does anyone know info about researching passenger trains info

I am hoping that someone can help me. I need to explain a little first so thank you for being patient.
I have been researching for awhile and since I am fairly new to genealogy compared to so many who are so knowledgeable and wise in doing this. I am really stuck. I was adopted at birth and began my research 4.5 years ago. In the first year, I found my biological mother and biological father (not married). I was her only child and he did not know I existed. He learned about me and a 1/2 brother (his son) when he was 83 years old. In talking with my biological mother, I learned that both of her grandmothers (my great grandmothers) were adopted. for the last 3 years I have been researching this and have gotten absolutely no where and am completely stuck. Anyway, my maternal great grandmothers were adopted. One at 2 years, one at birth. I have concentrated on the one that was 2 because I have copies of 2 letters that were signed in a private adoption situation. After 3 years, I am beginning to believe that the names provided in the letters were not correct. I have checked surnames with my DNA matches. I have tried matching in DNA Painter, Tier1 Gedmatch. I have joined every genealogical platform I could to attempt to uncover just one clue which would hopefully lead to another clue. I have made dozens and dozens of trees for each DNA match and researched them to the inth degree and no luck. I know many people think that putting the adopted parents info in the tree is ok, I dont. I have my adopted tree information separately because that is just how I think. My goal, as best as I could, is to find my biological DNA Lineage.
So thinking outside the box, I remembered that the doctor that facilitated the adoption for my great grandmother (Edith) that was a little over 2 at the time of her adoption, lived and worked in Binghamton NY. Edith was born in 1891 (?) and adopted out in 1893. There are 2 days between the letter that was signed by her mother in Binghamton, NY, which is located toward the eastern part of the state by the PA border, and the letter that was signed by the adopted parents (her stepdaugther) who lived in Chautauqua, New York, which is located in the western part of the state. Then, It dawned on me that maybe it was possible that the doctor took the child on a train ride. It would take approx 2 days of travel time to go from one end of the state to the other.
So after being long winded (I'm sorry) does anyone know if there are passenger train records in 1893 from Binghampton NY to Chautauqua, New York? If so, where can I find that information. I think the train that was the Erie, but I am not sure as there 3 trains that traveled and they split off.
I would greatly appreciate any help that anyone can give me.

Unfortunately, I don't think in-state train tickets were issued by name. They certainly weren't when I last rode one. (Granted, I haven't been on anything but local transit in decades, and most of my train-riding experience is on a different continent.)

It's only been in very recent years that tickets were issued by name. I would say it is very unlikely to find anything.
