I am working on indexing batch US, Connecticut, New Haven—Naturalization Records, 1906–1945[MQ72-ZB4].

On the first page, Harry Rattein had a previous wife Bertha, but at the time of the record they are divorced. Is there a way to mark this divorce in one of the spouse entries?

We do not index the fact that they are divorced/widowed. Disregard it and index Bertha as the spouse.
