Advertising FamilySearch Centers with books
Some FamilySearch Centers around the world have great book collections. The books have not been cataloged in the FSL catalog. If a little book icon could show up letting patrons know there are books found there or a reference in the location/hours/Notes section.

I am not connected with FamilySearch.
There is a facility in the catalogue to search by FamilySearch Centre. This used to work, however I tried a few sample searches, and I am not too sure that this function is still working.
Go to Search/Catalog https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog. On the left hand side of the webpage is a heading Availability, the choices being Any, Online or FamilySearch center.
If you check the FamilySearch center option, a drop down menu of FamilySearch centers appears, and you can choose one. Then perform your Search, but as I said I'm not too sure it is actually working now to give results for particular FamilySearch Centers.
In the past when the function was working if your Center's books didn't appear maybe this was because your Center had not advised the books to the FamilySearch Library, or you have done this since the Catalog has been locked, approximately the last two years.
I am sure I have seen comments in the past (years ago) that books held at a FamilySearch Center officially are part of the collection at the Family History Library and should be advised to the FHL, but I am unaware if that is still the situation.
