Formatted Census Data in Copy/Paste Format

Probably because FamilySearch has the worst layout for census records I have encountered. You could do this quite easily if the records displayed like this - at least similar to the old FamilySearch format:
Instead, FamilySearch developers decided to change the layout on the FS website to make it like this:
Not even the option to view as a single family unit: (a) Because the primary person (I have set it as the Head of the household) is always separated from the rest of the family. (b) Because, in this case, the youngest two children appear on the next page of the original document and FamilySearch's way of indexing divides them due to the different citation references.

This comes close -
Under the Save button, choose Copy Full Record
From the resulting view, you can copy/paste the family unit in a decent format. It's not perfect, but it's not bad.

Thanks for that, Aine. I should do a bit more mouse-hovering, I guess, to reveal these "hidden drop-downs"!
However, it still doesn't work too well - at least for England & Wales census records - as the focus person remains isolated at the top of the page. Here's how it appears (unedited) when pasted into Word. Is this as good as what can be produced from the the Copy Full Record feature? I assume so.
BTW - you can see why the two youngest children are omitted from FamilySearch's version: this part of the family are on page 103, but they are found on page 104:

Yes, that's why I said it's not perfect. But - what you can do, for a workaround, is to copy/paste all of the family, except the head of household, and then switch focus to someone else in the household, to capture the HOH in a similarly formatted line.

First of all, let me thank LDS church for what they have provided for all of us researchers. It is incredible.
I agree with everything stated above. The work arounds work, but it has become an increasingly more difficult work around with each "improvement" familysearch makes. I believe there are thousands of us who still want to use this - or a very similar - format;
John Doe Head Male 52 Ohio
Mary Doe Wife Female 50 Pennsylvania
Junior Doe Son Male 10 Ohio
I am someone who speaks out. I would wager there are multitudes of others that feel this way, but will not take the time to explain it. Making the site better for some but worse for most is not a very wise improvement.

We really need the best of "both worlds": it should print the summary format (the "old" format in columns of name, role, gender, age, birthplace) for the entire household, with the current person highlighted, and make the summary "copy-able" as it was before. Then each person should have a "+" (or some such button) to expand that particular entry/person into the full set of record fields.
