Previous attached source has missing persons
For one of my great great great uncle, G9H4-NPF, I had attached his marriage record with his spouse and his father "attached". When I review his profile details, there is no longer a spouse listed! I think also father linked to no one. In viewing the source linker, there is no spouse, but it shows I can detach the spouse from the empty blank spot. I hate to think of the hundred other people in my family tree and all those linked sources that may have missing people. I will check for changes but I hope I do not have to do this for every record and every person in my family tree I have added over the last decade or more. How did this happen?

It looks like you've been working on two different persons in the Family Tree named Carl Lewandowski. They each currently have a warning that they might be possible duplicates of each other, and I would recommend that you carefully review them; if they are indeed referring to the same person, you should merge them. My guess is that the duplicate versions of Carl led to some confusion as to which one had a spouse and which one had the marriage record attached. Merging them will eliminate that confusion.
You just recently added a spouse Christine Jandtke GKFP-JTR to the G9H4-NPF version of Carl. But the K8XC-HFW version of Carl has had a spouse Christine Jandtke MPYZ-XT3 for many years (that ID has changed via merge, but was originally attached April 20, 2012).
It looks like the Christine Jandtke GKFP-JTR you just created may well be a duplicate of the longstanding Christine Jandtke MPYZ-XT3; if so, those two Christines should also be merged.

Thanks. Alan for these items for me to check.
I am still confused how a person I had connected in my tree and had properly CONFIRMED by details of the marriage record was hijacked by another person and attached to a different Carl Lewandowski. That other Carl has no grandfather to confirm where his father is connected in family trees. There have been at least 2 or 3 other s before I had traced my grand grand grandmother to her parents by her birth record that then led me to her siblings.
Not only did it take me time to verify by searching other records, but now I have to go and review others' records or possible duplicate individuals. I am tired that others do not do thorough verification. I continually explain there are many individuals with same name - first and last name- they may be from very different geographic regions and probably NOT RELATED nor the SAME PERSON. Also even within a family - the siblings used first names over and over through their children and grandchildren and on. Many cousins had same names but research would show different parents. If grandchildren, then dates are very critical because someone born in 1830 probably would not be having children when they are in their 50's or 60's - it would be their namesake in the newer generation.
I have sent inquiries to some individuals who are not related to the persons in my tree - many do not reply, or rather than them fixing their mistakes - tell me to remove the duplicates.
It is difficult to follow some of the changes done by others to remove an individual who had attached source records and delete the relationship. Some merges or even deletion of duplicates of which what someone thinks is a duplicate MAY NOT have been a duplicate since you cannot tell by NAME ALONE.
I created the new Christine to try to see what other records are available especially in the geographic region where they were married. I have tried to be very diligent in finding MY family tree - these others come in and undo months or YEARS of research. It is becomeing VERY CONFUSING with so many "COOKS IN THE KITCHEN". I have been grateful for those who have put some family records together that have proper verification & validation. But if others just want to go in and attach any one any where then all this will be meaningless and I will no longer have MY TRUE FAMILY TREE and can no longer trust it to be accurate.
I started my research OVER 20 years ago and used Family Search libraries to view the microfiche etc - so WAY BEFORE THIS VERSION. I had saved many records in Family Search that related ONLY to my family tree but that was all lost with this new version. I have had to start from scratch - I have sent in feedback and CALLED that records I had found before are no longer here or I need to VIEW THE ORIGINAL SOURCE since there are misspellings or mistranslations in the index/search results. My fulltime job kept me away not only from my research but from the Family Search libraries and I found out only in 2015 that this new version existed.
Sorry for venting.
