What is the best way to get a question answered?
I posted a question, under "suggestions," on March 13, hoping for some clarification. How do I ensure that I will get a response? Thank you.

It really depends on what you asked. You may receive dozens of responses - either disagreeing with or supporting your suggestion.

I guess I should rephrase my question. I would like a response from FamilySearch staff. The original question concerns the catalog. This is not a question for the community. In the past, "feedback" links led eventually to the correct persons.

You can use the "Contact Us" option to contact FamilySearch.

https://www.familysearch.org/en/fieldops/familysearch-support-contact-us shows the options you have in contacting FamilySearch, depending on where in the world you currently reside.
I would not be too confident on getting a better response on Catalog queries than if you post them here. The Catalog has remained locked for the last couple of years and we have received no advice as to how long it will remain that way.
If you still can't get a satisfactory response (say via phone or email), post your original query here again.

@ssalo One other point - the "Suggest an Idea" category has been overloaded with posts that are not suggestions but complaints. Not saying that is the case with your post, only that lately it's been difficult to see the forest for the trees in "Suggest an Idea." Your post may not have been seen at all until now.

@ssalo For queries about the FamilySearch catalogue, for microfilms, microfiche and digital images contact the FamilySearch Library at: FHL-SLC-FilmRequests@churchofjesuschrist.org given in

I'm not sure the issue at hand qualifies as an error in the catalog, but it can't hurt to try.

@ssalo It is disconcerting to not know if a great suggestion or idea that you have is noticed or acknowledged by the folks you submitted it to. Rest assured, the Suggest an Idea category is actively monitored and suggestions are actively flowing from your posts there to the Product Managers and engineers. As @Áine Ní Donnghaile points out, there are a lot of posts in that category and Product Managers cannot respond to every post personally.
To more directly answer to your question, the entire catalog is currently being reprocessed and additional information such as you suggest are part of the reprocessing, so while you may not get a direct response to your post, you should see better information in the entry in Images at some future time.
Another thing that you might do is to help in the FamilySearch Wiki. I see that the particular collection is mentioned in the Emigration & Immigration section for Argentina. Perhaps you could add more detail to what it is and its value for researchers. You can request editing privileges in the left-hand column. Click on 'Become an Editor'.
And of course you could make a post about those records in the Latin American Research group where they are always looking for good information to help other folks find their ancestors.
