Bad indexing, missing entries

The page has been recently re-indexed. See the notes. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MX4R-KHK

The index for the Sage household is now editable in the new 'edit every field' app - however it seems to be experiencing problems with highlights. I would recommend backing out and trying again later.

I didn't index it. I don't know who did. But, the effort was sub-par, given the lack of initial caps and other issues.

There will need to be entries added and edited to fill out the family. I just think with the problems highlighting - which to me is an important step - since it was not behaving give it a while to settle down.
I got Geo's wife S C to finally highlight - a little weirdness going on - but over all I like the new image indexing app. The rest of the family needs correction still.
So I am running into a question. How many principals are there in a family household Census record - is the line about each person a principal record - or are the principals only husband and wife? My best guess from the hover description is that each line would be a principal record for the person on that line?
From my experience in the new editor - the HOH is typically the principal - but I need to know for sure because ... it's acting a bit weird.
I was able to add in apparent 8yo daughter H but if I try to create/add in 6yo son EA (because he was skipped in the initial index apparently) it appears to be in a separate record and I cannot create the relationship to parents Geo/SC. So I am going to flag a Moderator to look at the record.
Perhaps the UDE/migration needs to take into account adding the total amount of entries where there are text (even if illegible/unindexed) - not only the amount of entries contained in the old image viewer index - adding that amount of entries to the record created in the new 'edit every field' indexing app. I'm not sure but it seems all family members have to be in the initially created record for relationships to be added - if they are in different records (added later) those relationships require breaking the relationships created in the initially migrated record. So I'm just guessing here that we are supposed to delete out those persons from the initial record and recreate them manually?

The immediate family of Geo and SC Sage should appear correct in the record and source linker.

As a volunteer indexer, we were told the Head of household should be the only principal in a census record.
I know in the 1950 US Census, if you are editing entries, the system would often tell you if there are too many principals in that household. Don't know if that holds true for other census year databases.
The other thing when making corrections in a census is to SAVE often and REFRESH the screen! Whether you are correcting type or adding/moving highlights. If you are adding a line, enter parts of it at a time (e.g., Name, Race, Gender). Save. Refresh. Enter the next part. Repeat.
