Improve speed of printing records

I noticed as of late that it takes much time for a record recently searched (other than in the form of charts from the Family Tree site) to access for printing. When it finally revealed during that process, there is a very wide swath of black at the top (because of the heading of the record) which leaves not only the text in that area barely visible, but causes a tremendous waste of black ink during the printout. I would advise that the background of the heading be changed, not only from black, but perhaps even white (to help users who prefer to use color constantly).

Are you using the print function (under the save button) or are you using your browser's print function? In either case, you can choose to deselect "print backgrounds" and the black bar will not print.

Personally, I download the record rather than printing it from the browser, as that gives a better quality image.
