New Person Page Functionality
Right click on Recents near top left should have a drop down box that includes - Open Link in New tab etc as all the other options on the bar do on a right mouse click. Instead we get the back/forward options. Please restore functionality as it was on the old Persons Page.
The Search Records box on the right - almost every time you choose one of the search options you get the "Leaving FS" pop up. On the old Persons Page that box only popped up every couple of weeks (similar to when prompted to sign in after 2 weeks or so). It is very annoying with the current set up. Please restore the previous functionality for this area.
Using Chrome on Windows 10.

@Tony Ballegeer in my experience the "leaving FS" popup issue - which was mentioned as occurring at an annoying rate on another thread - occurs in mobile devices using Family Tree mobile app. Are you saying this is occuring on Windows 10 laptop or possibly non-mobile device through updated Chrome browser? Are you dongling your laptop to use mobile data?
The "leaving FS" message otherwise should apply to the source you are clicking on - which yes - might not be internal to FS.org. - in other words the message may be accurate. What links are you clicking on that result in the message? Maybe approaching it from there might help respond more accurately.

I can confirm, Windows 10, Firefox, both fully updated.
Selecting any name from the Recents list opens in the same window, replacing the Following list with the page for the person selected.
I tend to use right-click extensively, so it doesn't bother me, but I can see it would be a problem if you were not expecting that behavior.

I'm using a laptop, as I have for years. I only resorted to the new Person page when FS forced the issue earlier this week. That is when I noticed the changed behaviour. I use Genenet and My Heritage extensively to look for clues or confirm what is in FS, so it is very annoying to have this box pop up repeatedly.
With the Recents tab - I often use it to open a new tab to paste in a new ID, doing what is suggested would work, but changing the behaviour on right click to match what occurs on all the other options along the top left makes sense, given previous behaviour on the old page (which as much as I wish, know that it won't be coming back into use...).

With regards to right-clicking the actual menu item of Recents: that never worked. The reason for this is that the new homepage's stand-alone Recents page is newer than that menu. When the bit of code running the Family Tree submenu was written, Recents was really a button, not a type of link (like all of the other menu items).
Really the least-frustrating thing you can do is to get into the habit of always first trying a right-click, anywhere on FS. The worst that can happen is that you get your browser's navigation menu (the one starting with back/forward/reload), telling you that the element you clicked is acting like a button, not a link. There are some buttons on FS that will hijack the page you're on, unfortunately (such as the "profile hint exists" button on Search - Records results lists); you just have to learn which ones those are so you can avoid them.

Thanks for the comments. I understand that there are workarounds and will get used to using them.
I am not a programmer or a coder, but to me it should not be that difficult if you have 7 items on a bar and 6 of them behave one way on a right click and 1 does not, it should not be a big issue to change the 1 that is off to behave as the other 6.....
