    Hardly more than a glance is needed to see that the “Grand Total” of 231,903,784 records is not even close to being an accurate number. The “China Collection of Genealogies” collection alone has 213,469,963 records and the new “United States, Social Security Numerical Identification Files (NUMIDENT), 1936-2007” collection has 63,700,494 records. Just those two collections have a total of more than 277 million records, and the number of records in all of the other collections would comfortably bring the actual grand total to at least 300 million records.

    Please correct the formula so that an accurate grand total number will be displayed hereafter. I love reading this monthly article and it seems to me that having accurate information in the article is not an unreasonable expectation.

    Agreed. The problem seems to be with the spreadsheet/application SUM function cutting off somewhere and not summing the entire list.
