Hi, I have been reviewing indexed records from Alessandria (Italy) during the French Empire period. There is a person who is indexing who keep translating the French names as written in the records into Italian! (For example, if the name appears as Louis in the record, he translates it to Luigi). Is there any way to tell this person to copy the names exactly as they appear in the record? Thanks! Mary

If they make enough errors that are corrected by the reviewer, sometimes FamilySearch can reach out to them. You could email support rather than post here if you think it would help.
