Living people marked as deceased
I have a person adding the same person to my tree but then they are stating that the person is deceased when they are very much alive - I need to delete these false entries - I know the people are alive as it is my brother and sister

You can contact the other person using FS's internal messaging system to ask for this correction. If that doesn't have the desired effect within a reasonable timeframe, or if the profiles simply have too much personal info on them for you to feel comfortable waiting, you can ask FS staff's assistance by going to the profile's Details page and editing the "Death" conclusion in the Vitals box. Change the radio button from "Deceased" to "Living", click "Save", and follow the prompts. The change may still take a few days, depending on workload, but in my experience, it should be less than a week. Once it has been made, the profiles should disappear from your view, because they'll be in the private space of the user who entered them.

Hi Welcome to FamilySearch Community and asking about living people being entered as deceased. This often happens when someone is attaching a source such as an obituary or census which has living people listed. The person attaching doesn't take the time to determine if the person is living or deceased. There are other reason also that living people get added as deceased. The best way to handle it is to go the the person page for the person that you want to make living. On the details tab, scroll down to the entry for death, click on the edit icon (pencil) and change from deceased to living. Save and you will be asked to describe how you know this person is living. Enter the appropriate information and submit. This will be reviewed and in a few days the record will be made living and you will not see it anymore. The person making the entry will see the living record for the person. Hope this helps. Here is a link to more detailed instructions.
