Does FamSearch have an option where you can search for someone by their profession? Intead of just names, places and dates. Can help narrow down a search. In other words, find by name, location and profession. Thanks.

If they do, I don't know about it or how to use it. That would be a great help. I have been adding professions into notes. What are you doing? At least when I have two men with the same name and same wife's given name and living in the same general area, I have one more point to differentiate them.

I do not believe that there is such an option in FamilySearch. There is nothing in the advanced search options that offers this.

I have not checked completely but, as an example, an occupation search is possible with FindMyPast's census records. Ancestry only offers this via a more general keyword search.
