German place names
This may not be a new idea. but, it would be great if FamilySearch would correct some place names to represent the historical time period. For example, I am trying to add the birth place for an ancestor born in 1777 in Dahlem, Kingdom of Prussia. Kingdom was from 1701. But, since Dahlem does not have a place name under Kingdom of Prussia, it is incorrectly assigning to Dahlem, Schleiden, Rhineland, Prussia, German Empire which did not exist until 1829
There are numerous examples in all Kingdoms and Duchy's of Germany which default to either the German Empire or Germany the country even though they did not exist until a much later date.

Dahlem has 5 different timeframes in the FamilySearch Places Database:
the first timeframe lists: 867 - 1815 Dahlem, Luxemburg, Holy Roman Empire - which appears to cover the timeframe of your interest.
If you have a Research Link and supporting historical data to demonstrate the Kingdom of Prussia you can submit this to FamilySearch Provisionally and if they Accept - it may put a 6th timeframe/location id in the database. On the link above - to submit this information to FamilySearch click the Improve this Place button.
There could be several options/submission categories to your improvements.
