What to index?
I am just starting on South Africa—Dutch Reformed Church Registers, 1660–1970 [Part C][M3XZ-V3Y]
The first column is easy... the name of the individual (last name then first name)
The second column states the age (ouderdom)
But it's the next two columns that I am having difficulty with. I am seeing two entries that show dates (see attached pic). Which date should I be recording as the "event date"? One column is labeled "Wanneer en door wien aangenomen" (when and by whom adopted) and the other column is "Wanneer en door wien voorgesteld" (when and bywhom proposed)
Then there is the column labeled "Gedoopt" (baptised) and has a city name, but not a date.
The last column is puzzling as well. It is labeled "Teldk***"? I am not sure what the last letters are and the column contains names.

It's a membership record for Richmond - use the latest "Waaneer" date for the event

Dennis, you say use the latest date. Is this a record for confirmation into the church? Is the first date when they were "recommended" or "applied" for admission and the later date for when they were "accepted"?

@David T Phillips, Sometimes its difficult to read from a screenshot, so please give the batch code found at the right of the Project Name in brackets like this [XXXX-XXX] Thanks

For event date always use VOORGESTEL WANNEER when a date is present.
When there is no Voorgestel Wanneer date use Aagenomen Wanneer date.
When there is no Voorgestel Wanneer or Aagenomen Wanneer date then use Aangekomen Wanneer date
