How do I delete a person from the tree without deleting him completely

My husband was adopted. When I added his mother to our tree, her husband was automatically added as well as my husband's father. He is not my husband's father. How do I remove him from our tree and add the biological father (without his wife)

This is where you use the pencil icons in the Family Members section to edit relationships.

Go to your husband's page and scroll down to Family Members so that you see him where Johannes is:

Click on Add Parent in the lower right as circled above. That will bring up a screen for you to add his biological father. If his biological father comes up as already existing in Family Tree, you will get a choice to add just him or him as a couple including his wife. Be sure to pick the choice with just him.

Next click on the pencil icon next to your husband's name in the right hand column as circled above. This will bring up the Child-Parent relationship screen:

Click on Remove or Replace, as circled above, under his biological mother's husband and go through through the process there to remove him.
