Web developer needs to stop using web frameworks that are only compatible with Chrome. I refuse to use Chrome, because it is spyware for Google. I am unable to do any indexing due to this incompatibility with other modern browsers that are HTML5 and CSS3 compatible. This feels like the early part of this century when you always said to use Internet Explorer, because that was all you supported.

    Hi

Regardless of the operating system you use, our website works with these fully supported browsers:

    • Apple Safari—the current version and one previous
    • Google Chrome—the current version and one previous
    • Microsoft Edge—the current version and one previous
    • Mozilla Firefox—the current version and one previous

    Extract from this:

    Hope this helps

@OConnorAnne1 It sounds as though you are connected with FamilySearch.

Although you have quoted from a Help Center article, I wonder if the information is in fact true. My current situation suggests that information is not true. I have Apple Safari version 16.3, which according to Wikipedia is the most current version. However I cannot currently sign to FamilySearch using Safari, I need to sign in using Chrome.

I have cleared my browsing history on Safari, but it has not made a difference.

I have no problem signing in to FamilySearch using Safari 16.3 and Mac OS Ventura 13.2.1.

Have you tried just clearing the cookies on familysearch.

    Go to familysearch.org/cookies.

@OConnorAnne1 Thank you for your suggestion, which I tried, but unfortunately it made no difference. I cannot sign in using Safari 16.3
