Bureau of Land Management Date Tract Book Date Question

The project instructions ask for the most recent date. It does say that it can be found in "Date of Sale", "Date of Entry", or "Date of Patent" but there is often a date further to the right with some sort of upgrade of information, sometimes even a relinquishment. Should I just use the date in the Date of Entry column or go for the latest date?

The real problem is they don't say what date they actually want; date of sale, date of patent, date of certification, and the headings do not actually jibe with the entries. Sometimes you just have to put the date that is readable

@HughesAlysonAdams and @Layle Jon Harmon -- It's always best the give the batch code given in brackets, like this [XXXX-xxx] and the Project Instructions (PI) state "do not use a date of relinquishment" There are several examples given of dates to use in the PI - follow those examples as best you can
