My Gr grandmother remarried and had a second family. So many "suggested relatives " , clues, pictures, "you are related to" etc pertain to this second family who I am not biologically related to. Is there a way to deemphasize their importance in my information?

You can select which Spouse and thus family is your Preferred tree view (the other family will still be there but your preference will be the default tree relationship):

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-set-the-preferred-spouse-or-parents

This will not effect suggested hints/tasks.

I have a similar situation and largely just ignore that line - since there are others working in it - and are descendants of that other line.

@GaryHiggins3, another option for you is to turn off that feature in your account settings on FamilySearch (separate from Community).
