Hi,

there seems to be a mix up with the dates in the transcriptions for the church book of Ober Heiligenwalde: a large amount of the records have a date in 1842. Which must be a transcription error since some couples end up having several children throughout the year of 1842. For example, Wilhelm Kittlitz and Henriette Kittlitz nee Steinort have five children on different dates in 1842:

Who can I contact to get this fixed?

Thanks,

Anke

    The images are not viewable from home. If the index is incorrect, it cannot be edited unless the images can be viewed.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I realize that the images are not viewable and hence can not be edited from home. I was hoping that there is maybe a department at FamilySearch that would be in charge of fixing errors like that. If there isn't, I guess this will have to remain as is.

    @AnkeMichels

    That particular collection:

    "Molodetskoye, Vasylkiv, Kiev, Russian Empire records, Aug 5, 2018," images, FamilySearch (address : Mar 27, 2023), image 1 of 411; Evangelische Kirche Heiligenwalde (Kr. Königsberg).

    (yes I realize the Title shows Russia Empire currently - apparently there were two items on the film roll - but that is the connected citation/address for the first image in the collection currently. If you click on 'address' link you should get there - if not Community alters Image collection addresses.)

    shows as unindexed in Search> Images.

    If/when the edit every field indexer app is opened for the collection - then anyone will be able to correct the index/transcript for every record.

    For example: The twins(?) Anna Marie Therese and Hermann Wilhelm Emil - from your search results - are found on this image page - but the image has not yet been indexed - and thus the index is not open for changes yet
