Problem with digitized film
- Film # 004356591 (332 images)
- Washington, County Land Records, 1850-1954
The previous page states this film is an index for Kitsap County. When you look at the actual images, each page header says King County. Can you confirm where the Kitsap images actually are? Thank you.

@M Cohen I have confirmed that DGS 4356591 contains only records for King County, Washington and have reported the problem. We can't predict how long it will take for the team that works on these matters can track down the correct set of images for Kitsap County. You might want to check back in a few months and see if things are fixed.
Apologies for the error!

Kitsap County was formed in 1857 from Kings and Jefferson Counties.

Yes, I am aware of that, but when you look at the documents from 1903 on this film, they still say King County at the top. Also, many of the deeds reference locations in Seattle. So my question is, do we think that Kitsap was still using stationery from King County all those years later, and it is just a coincidence that deeds referencing Seattle are included? Or is it possible the Kitsap images are somewhere else, on another film? Thanks.

The collection page: https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1762885 does say it includes King County. If you peruse from there and select the Kitsap waypoint:
- hopefully that will put you in the correct images (I did see Kitsap random images).

Thanks to both of you for trying. That's what I had originally done. The film referenced at the start of the thread is the film labelled as Kitsap > Deed and Mortgage Index, 1852-1903, but the pages appear to be mainly Seattle. I will try other sources.
