I have a question about the South Africa Records. As a indexer and reviewed, I see numerous records with only the follow header information: NAAM, DATUM, PLEX, BK.NO and BLS.

I have been treating them as Church Membership records and indexing/reviewing them accordingly, i.e. name, date and location.

I am seeing many of them labeled as: No, No Extractable Data. I also see many of them labeled as Yes, to the question: Should this image be indexed, but the entry type is labeled as: birth, baptism, burial/death, and church membership.

What is the correct indexing procedure?

I will continue treating them as Church Membership records unless I'm instructed otherwise.

I would return the batches and not review them or index them. (Use Return Batch, not Reindex Batch). They are baptisms. But, apparently from all the questions being asked about them, neither indexers or reviewers know what to do with these indexes.
