Hint Problems

Dear FS,

I've noticed recently that I have hints that I have previously recorded as Sources from Images.

When you try to add the hint, it indicates a problem e.g. K8BW-SJR and G9P7-FLR.

In switcher you get a detach source option. A merge source option might be a solution.

Kind Regards

George

Are you talking about the "detach" triangles in Source Linker?

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?ark=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A6NCL-GGJF&id=G9P7-FLR&hinting=%2Ftree%2Fperson%2Fdetails%2FG9P7-FLR

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/linker?ark=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3A6VRJ-9JB7&id=K8BW-SJR&hinting=%2Ftree%2Fperson%2Fdetails%2FK8BW-SJR

The problem on both of these is that the parents got switched: the father's entry is attached to the mother, and the mother's entry is attached to the father. Detach them and re-attach the right way 'round to make the black triangles go away.
