Place to post unidentified photographs

I wish there was a place where unidentified family pictures, particularly the old ones, could be posted when you have a pretty good idea what family -- or even town -- it likely belongs in, but don't know who it is. These pictures often get discarded because no one knows who they are. Perhaps someone else would recognize the individuals in the photos if they were posted along with whatever information we have.

Very timely suggestion. Just last week a family gathering photo dropped out of a page in a scrap book I inherited that I've not seen. I recognized one of my great grandmothers and 3 or 4 others, but not the 25-30 others. Writing on the back indicated pretty much what you describe, town, date and name of the park. I've uploaded it to a genealogy facebook group for that county and got only 4 more people identified.

This would be a good suggestion as long as the place was publicized, possibly as a pinned announcement or something in all research groups and a link on everyone's home page?
