WWhy has current Dalton, Whitfield County, Georgia become Dalton, Murray in standard slot ?
For example, Rene Hoke Lanier LK13-S5V - under residence . But was under death until I changed tonight. All of my Dalton Whitfield , GA places have been changed to Dalton, Murray in standard slot . One says Dalton, Madison instead of Whitfield ????

If you type the displayed name of residence again you will find you can standardize to the correct place name:
Looking at the attached sources, perhaps it came to be standardized incorrectly through the automated standardization process choosing the wrong alternative.

Yes, Paul. I had all correct and for some reason now system changed. I reported last night and hoping they fix . If not, records will be a mess for future.I am one that likes all the items to be as perfect as I can make . Thanks for answer. I believe you are correct. gail

This is still an issue on many Georgia cities and counties. System problem has not been corrected. Tonight Winder was listed in Jackson county. Macon in Houston county, and Dalton still has Murray. These are incorrect in the standardize part of system. The system incorrectly changed during their efforts to "fix" standard issues. Would someone from family search please let me know how y'all plan to fix your software issue. Thanks, Gail

Thanks so much . Since I posted this, I am found many counties are incorrect. The system takes the correct info but the standard drop boxes are incorrect. Gail
