Why do the annoucements for wedding anniversaries for parents, grand parents, great grandparents and beyond include only one of the celebrants? Isn't this a shared event?

Yes - they are shared events. Such announcements should be linked to all parties. Can you give an example with PID numbers please?

Personally, I find such notifications of little interest, so don't subscribe to receiving them. But I would have thought it unnecessary to receive notice of both the marriage partners, as once you go to Mary's profile it becomes obvious the event relates to Arthur Irving, too. However, it would be interesting to know whether this is due to a glitch, or whether just one of the partners is always selected in these instances - maybe randomly.

I concur with Paul's comments. I receive these notifications and ignore them most of the time. Clearly the system only selects a sample otherwise I would be bombarded with such notifications.
